Pearls of wisdom

In my business casual workplace, everyone tries to “dress up” professionally, but some people go overboard with flashy diamond jewelry and others miss the mark with high schoolish trinkets.

Pearls, however, are the perfect classy accessory to demonstrate that I cared enough dress and accessorize professionally on those days where I feel like dressing up a bit, but don’t want to appear like I’m trying hard to dress up. A strand of pearls around my neck makes all of my blouses look better and elongates my neckline.

And my newest favorite pearl necklace is a black cultured freshwater pearl necklace
that I received as a gift. A few pearl loops around my neck and I’m ready to go to work in style.
