I recently received two gift tins of assorted brownies and assorted cookies from DavidsCookies.com and surprised by husband and daughter with the delectable desserts. As I slowly opened the red and gold tins, my daughter’s eyes grew larger and larger like chocolate chip cookies as she exclaimed repeatedly – woooooow! wooooow!

Fortunately, my daughter is very generous like me. About half way through the cookie, she offered it to my husband to eat the remainder even though she really wanted to eat the whole cookie herself. It was a golden hearted gesture on her part to share her one cookie with her beloved daddy. Even though she had two tins of dessert in front of her, she knows that she only gets one cookie at a time, so giving away half a cookie is a real sacrifice. And daddy of course gladly ate the half cookie offered to him even though he had just gobbled up two cookies and a brownie that he did not offer to share with anyone.
